We are seeking a committed and compassionate Residential Team Leader to support children and young people with disabilities in a residential setting in the Walsall area.
About the Role As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care for children and young people.
You will help create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where young people can thrive.
Working Pattern 40 hours per week Shift pattern: 3 days on / 4 days off Shift times: 7:00am - 9:00pm Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs Supervise, mentor, and support Residential Support Workers Ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated Promote independence, wellbeing, and development of young people Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies What We're Looking For Previous experience working with children or young people (ideally with disabilities) Experience in a senior or supervisory role within residential care Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills A caring, resilient, and proactive approach Flexibility to work shifts including weekends Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 3/4 in Children & Young People or willingness to work towards) What We Offer Competitive salary of £29,494.40 Structured shift pattern for a strong work-life balance Ongoing training and career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to lead and make a meaningful difference every day If you're ready to take the next step into leadership and positively impact the lives of children and young people, apply today Apply now and lead a team that changes lives.
