To line manage a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a high-quality Housing First service in County Donegal.
Housing First is a model that provides housing in conjunction with wrap around supports to those who have been long term homeless and have a history of complex trauma and rough sleeping.
The team lead role will require planning, assessing and delivering a trauma informed support service. This involves working with individuals in their homes and in the wider community and helping them with community integration and wellbeing. The Team Leader will also network and promote Housing First with relevant services to continue to grow and maintain an established working service.
LocationOffice is based in Letterkenny town, covering county Donegal.
The service is currently provided Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm. With the intention of the service being extended to Saturdays in the future. Saturdays will be worked on a staff rotational basis.
Successful applicants will:- Be registered with or in the process of registration with CORU as a social care worker ()
- Have a Level 8 qualification in Social Care/Social Work. The Organisation will consider applicants with a lower qualification, but exceptional relevant experience would be required.
- Experience working in a supervisory role is required.
- Be fully competent and capable of undertaking duties as specified within the job description and be in a state of health such that there is a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
- Hold a full Irish driver's licence and access to own can
- Relevant experience working with vulnerable adults, preferably within homeless services.
- Experience and understanding of working with clients with a dual diagnosis.
