Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join a Children's residential service in Smethwick. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential childcare and a passion for providing high-quality care and support to young people.

Requirements:

Experience in residential child care
Full UK Driving licence
Clear DBS

Duties

To assist management in the day-to-day running of the home
To promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment
To provide support for the service users
To work in a multi-disciplinary team
To deputise in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager
To lead shifts and support co-workers
To maintain accurate and up to date records
To carry out observations or supervisions
