An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in North East Glasgow HSCP.
This post supports the Senior Nurse Manager in the management and professional leadership of all nursing team members to deliver a high quality service in compliance with statutory responsibilities, professional guidelines and the policies and procedures of the organisation.
This post provides day to day professional and managerial input to the community nursing team within their area of responsibility.
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of patient centred care to patients and their relatives through the development and management of staff within their remit.
The post holder will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience and will lead and enable the team to provide a high quality service. Therefore the post holder will require to work Backshift and overnight shifts on occasion, however the majority of shifts will be carried out within core hours, Mon- Fri.
It is essential that you hold current 1st Level NMC Registration; have a post registration degree, management diploma or equivalent level of experience; and have experience in change management and leading practice development initiatives. You must possess excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills and be resilient and self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative. Driving licence is desirable due to geographical area that you will cover.
