The Bolton Autism Post Diagnostic Team is a small specialist team which provides post diagnostic support for adults with a diagnosis of Autism. Our work is relational, values led and our administrator is absolutely central to making that happen.
You'll work closely with clinicians in a supportive, collaborative team where your contribution is visible, valued and impactful.

The role is 15 hours, which could be over two days, or we can agree a working pattern that supports work life balance. We welcome ideas, improvement and initiative. Your experience and insight are encouraged.
Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will provide high quality, efficient and confidential administrative support to the Bolton Autism Post Diagnostic Team - a small specialist service for autistic adults.
The role is essential to support the full patient journey, including referral processing, triaging updates, appointment scheduling, discharge letters and report distribution.
The role also requires administrative support for team meetings, MDTs, consultations and professionals' meetings.
The administrator will work closely with clinicians, the Team Leader and external partners to ensure that service users receive a professional experience.

- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

- Knowledge or experience of autism
- Knowledge and experience of mental health problems
- Contact with patients/service users
- The ability to prioritise and plan conflicting, and complex work demands
- Advanced keyboard skills
- The ability to navigate IT systems, inc Word, Excel and Outlook
- A caring and sensitive attitude when communicating with staff and patients
- Ability to be numerate and provide statistical data accurately
- Knowledge of PARIS systems
- There is an occasional requirement to travel across the wide footprint of the Trust to attend meetings and events relevant to the role.
- Use of Visual Display Units for a long period of time.
