Role: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £22,996 - £25,068 per Annum (Plus £1000 referral bonus)

Location: Kidderminster

Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.

Experience within an education setting Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures. Some experience of working with SEMH learners with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a school environment Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable

Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs Full clean driving licence

Qualifications and Experience:

A patient, caring and positive attitude

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one Previous experience working with children in a school setting

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
