A warm and supportive primary school in Maghull is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

You will be expected to:

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities
• Provide focused 1:1 or small-group support when required
• Assist with behaviour management and help promote positive learning behaviours
• Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive and well-organised classroom environment

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (essential)
• Strong understanding of classroom support strategies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• A proactive, calm and supportive approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
