Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

We are seeking to appoint up to three dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants, each including Midday Supervisor responsibilities. We are offering a mix of morning, afternoon and combined roles to provide flexibility for applicants on a fixed term basis.
We currently have:
- 2 x Morning TA2 roles with MDS duties (23.75 hours per week: 18.75 TA2, 5 MDS), working 8:30am-1:15pm, Mon-Fri.
- 1 x Afternoon TA2 role with MDS duties (16.25 hours per week: 11.25 TA2, 5 MDS), working 12:00pm-3:15pm, Mon-Fri.
- An option to combine one morning role and the afternoon role into a single 33.75-hour post (28.75 TA2, 5 MDS) for those seeking a full-time position.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children across the classroom, working with individuals and small groups, helping to deliver high-quality learning and promoting a positive, inclusive environment. You will work closely with class teachers to implement strategies tailored to children's needs, supporting their academic progress and social and emotional development.
Qualifications / What we are looking forWe are looking for applicants who are patient, nurturing and able to build strong relationships with children and colleagues. Flexibility, good organisation and effective communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals.
Midday Supervisor dutiesAll roles include Midday Supervisor duties, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our children.
