Job Description
Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Green Lane Community Special School The role

Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Permanent and Fixed Term 1:1 positions available. Hours: 32.5 hours per week (term time only) plus 5 Professional Development Days - 8:30 to 3:30 pm (38 weeks + 5 INSET). We are currently looking to recruit Level 2 Teaching Assistants, both permanent positions and fixed term roles linked to individual pupil top-up funding, to join our dedicated and caring team at Green Lane Community Special School. These positions involve providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, as well as assisting wider groups of pupils within the classroom to ensure every child can access learning and thrive in a supportive environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate within a school that was judged to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in its last five consecutive Ofsted Inspections, and is committed to providing the highest quality provision for all of its pupils. The school is designated as a Specialist School for Cognition and Learning and is accredited by the National Autistic Society as an Advanced Accredited School.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and young people and would like to contribute to the wellbeing and development of our pupils aged 4-16 years.
