Teaching Assistant KS2

Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: Middleton Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting class teachers, delivering interventions, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
• Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources
• Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm, structured learning environment
• Contribute confidently within the classroom and take initiative when required
• Previous experience working within Key Stage 2
• Confident supporting whole-class learning and leading small groups
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible approach
• Relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• A supportive and welcoming school community
