Job Description

Teaching Assistant

Employer: St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust

Location: English Martyrs' Catholic School - LE4

Hours: 32.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Position: Fixed Term until August 2027

Salary: £18,785.48-£19,381.72 (Actual Salary) (FTE £24,796-£25,583 per annum)

Grade: Band 2 (Points 3-5)

Start Date: ASAP (Autumn Term 2026)

Closing date: 9.00 am 24th August 2026

Interview date: W/c 7th September 2026

Responsibilities
  • Provide one on one and group support to students.
  • Foster confidence and independence in learners.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive environment.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learning needs.
