Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team on a temporary basis (long term and temp perm available). As a Supply Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to work in various primary schools across Wolverhampton, supporting teachers and students in the classroom during short term absences, special projects, and other temporary vacancies. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of young students.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Provide one on one support to students who require additional assistance.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
• Prepare learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and parents to support student progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
• A passion for education and a desire to support student learning and development.
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is desirable.
