Aspris Clay Hill School is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant /Learning Support Assistant to join our Education team! We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting the children with their work and supporting with pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

Clay Hill School is an independent specialist day school for young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs. We provide education for young people aged 5 to 19 years.
Responsibilities- Provide personalised educational assistance to a specific pupil in need of additional support.
- Build a strong rapport with the pupil, understand their individual needs, and implement strategies to enhance their learning experience.
- Work collaboratively with the school staff, parents, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil's overall development and success.
- Previous experience supporting in a classroom setting.
- Level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults.
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service and providing at least 2 references covering the last 3 years.
