Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education is recruiting for a special Educational needs Teaching Assistant in the Ledbury area. The role is for a primary school during term time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 4:00pm, with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities

Work with a 2 form entry primary school, supporting an 8 year old student in and out of the classroom. Duties include sitting in class to keep the student on task, supervising lunch and break times, and supporting extra curricular activities. Keep teachers and parents updated on the child's progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience working with children, preferably in a support or alternative care role. Required: up to date DBS (or willingness to allow Axcis to process one), and other mandatory compliance checks in line with DfE guidelines. Must be suitably qualified for the role and able to attend a face to face interview with Axcis.

Salary & Benefits

Pay is £14.25 per hour. Training portal and other support are provided.
