We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone with experience, or maybe a person who is looking to challenge themselves and further develop their skills. We are looking to enhance our team with an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about children and our school, bringing ideas and energy to ensure that all of our pupils flourish. The role will involve supporting children across the year groups, to enjoy their time at school and make good progress in their learning. We expect everyone to be totally committed and willing to go the extra mile every day to make our pupils successful and be actively involved in all aspects of school life. You will be joining a fantastic team who enjoy working in a superb school with an inspiring learning environment. Supporting class teachers, the successful applicant will ensure that our children experience excellent learning and have high expectations of what they can achieve. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children in an education setting. Stanton Cross is a new school in the heart of the Stanton Cross development in Wellingborough. We deliver an enriched, relevant and engaging curriculum which enables children to become knowledgeable, adaptable and confident to reach their own academic potential.
Eventually, we will educate 420 children in our state of the art building but as we grow, we are opening one year group at a time. We currently have two classes in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and one class in Year 3. We are a very diverse school with a third of our children speaking more than one language which makes our school a vibrant place to be.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for shortlisted applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process. The successful applicant will be expected to have two satisfactory references and undertake a medical questionnaire.
