Qualifications
  • Good standard of education (5 GCSEs with English and Maths C or above) or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Ability to plan and implement effective actions for children at risk of underachieving.
  • Natural communicator with the ability to relate well to both children and adults.

Responsibilities

Further details about the role: Initially you will support a delightful child with autism, who attends our nurture base in the mornings and re-joins his class for the afternoons. This role will continue until the pupil moves to another setting (although there are no plans for this at present). At this point, the successful candidate will be deployed in line with current needs at the school.
