Magisters is currently recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas.

The Role

• Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
• Position: Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA / SEN TA)
• Type: Full-time or part-time - flexible opportunities available
• Start Dates: Immediate and September starts available
• Pay: Competitive hourly/daily rates; £80 - £100/day

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver engaging lessons.
• Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support.
• Assisting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs (experience welcomed).
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Supporting with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Supervising pupils during break times and school activities.

About You

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred).
• Passionate about supporting pupils' learning and development.
• Patient, reliable, and proactive approach.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection (training provided if needed).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
