Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Early Years Teaching Assistant to start immediately for a Primary School based in Hartlepool. The role has a view to a permanent role for the right candidate and we have a temporary to permanent arrangement with the school to make the transition seamless. The School has a fantastic reputation of supporting, nurturing and developing it's staff within and has recently been awarded 'Good' by Ofsted. Free parking is available on-site and there are excellent public transport links in the area for those wishing to travel via bus or train. You will be supporting in a nurturing Reception class in the mornings only starting from 08:30am until 12:30pm Monday to Friday. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant you will work closely with class teachers to support children's learning. Your duties will include small group work, one-to-one support, and assisting with classroom activities to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting children with additional needs (school, care or youth work settings are all welcome)
• A calm, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A Level 2/3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
