Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the curriculum. You'll assist with day-to-day classroom activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a well-organised and engaging learning environment.

• Support the class teacher during lessons and classroom activities.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.

• Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom displays.

• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.

• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil well-being.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
