Job Description

Axcis Education is working closely with a SEND school for children aged 4-11 with Moderate Learning Difficulties, communication needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Their pupils feel safe, enjoy learning, and thrive through strong relationships and personalised support.

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning and wellbeing. You will work alongside teachers to deliver tailored support in a structured, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support learning on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and occasionally whole classes
  • Promote positive behaviour using consistent, trauma informed approaches
  • Help pupils access the curriculum and track progress
  • Support outdoor learning and off site activities
  • Work with staff, families, and external professionals
  • Provide support during periods of emotional distress
  • Contribute to individual learning plans and maintain accurate records

Salary: £92-£96 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
