Permanent Maths Teacher role
Full time Monday - Friday
Potential to progress and take on extra responsibilities

Teacher of Maths (ECT) - induction support:
Structured 2-year ECT induction programme with regular mentor meetings
Dedicated release time for CPD, planning, and reflection
Opportunities to observe experienced teachers and learn best practices
In-house and borough-led training sessions tailored to your needs
Warm, positive working culture focused on growth and collaboration
Teacher of Maths (ECT) - responsibilities:
Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to explore KS5 if desired
Engage students through creative, differentiated teaching strategies
Track and support student progress using formative assessment tools
Participate in collaborative planning and contribute to extra-curricular Maths enrichment
Teacher of Maths (ECT) - the school:
11-18 mixed secondary school in Merton with a strong record of academic excellence
Inclusive, student-centred ethos with excellent behaviour standards
A welcoming, collaborative Maths department with experienced mentors
Well-resourced classrooms and access to digital teaching tools
Easily accessible from South West London and Surrey
Teacher of Maths (ECT) - requirements:
Right to Work in the UK
UK QTS or on track to receive by September 2025
Successful training experience covering KS3 and KS4. KS5 is desirable.
