This role would suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for excellent mentoring and development, as well as experienced teachers seeking a fresh challenge in a forward-thinking environment.

The Role

You will deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. You'll be part of a collaborative department committed to raising attainment and building students' confidence in numeracy and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom
• Supporting learners of all abilities through effective differentiation
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing clear feedback
• Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
• Inspiring pupils to develop resilience, confidence, and a love for Maths

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK equivalent
• Has a degree in Maths or a related subject
• Is an ECT or experienced Maths teacher
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management
• Has a genuine passion for teaching and helping pupils succeed

ECTs will benefit from structured mentoring, clear progression pathways, and ongoing support.
