About the Role 
St Michael's CE Middle School is looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our team.
Actual Salary £32,916 - £39,556 per annum (M1 to M4).
This job is full time and offered on a permanent basis.
Approximate start date: 1st September 2026.
The successful candidate will teach maths to a class in each of our four year groups and will have responsibility for a Year 6 tutor group.

Responsibilities- Teach mathematics to classes in each of the four year groups.
- Lead a Year 6 tutor group.
- Adopt versatile teaching approaches to meet individual student needs.
- Passion for maths and enthusiasm as a teacher.
- Willingness to adapt to a range of student needs.
- Disclosure and Barring Service check required.
- Right to work in the UK must be established.
- Eligible for a DBS check according to safeguarding requirements.
- Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (as outlined).
