Role OverviewWe seek an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to build on existing strengths in this department. The successful candidate will have the skills to ensure excellent teaching and learning, will promote high standards, and show a commitment to pupil progress. Public exam results are very strong, and History is a popular A Level subject.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure excellent teaching and learning, promoting high academic standards.
- Show a commitment to pupil progress and encourage enthusiastic participation by all pupils.
- Support the aims and ethos of a Catholic school, including safeguarding principles and health and safety at all times.
- Ensure good communication with parents and support the co curricular programme.
- Participate in safeguarding and welfare initiatives, including Enhanced DBS, Barred List and online/social media checks as part of Keeping Children Safe in Education.
The successful applicant will be subject to a number of safer recruitment checks, receive further training and updates, and share responsibility for pastoral care.
