Job Description
Overview

Package Description: Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools are recruiting for a Teacher of Health and Food Technology to join the Fashion and Food Technology Department at the ESM Senior School on a permanent basis from 17 August 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). This is a permanent, part-time role with a salary of £17,601-£25,491 (0.5 FTE). The role is based at the Queensferry Road site.

The purpose of the role is to teach Health and Food Technology to all levels up to Advanced Higher and contribute to the School's extra-curricular programme. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to the learning and teaching of upper Primary classes as needed.

The successful candidate must be GTCS registered, or eligible for registration, with the relevant subject-specific teaching degree. They should be passionate about Health, Food and Fashion technologies and will support the department to collaborate, create and build a successful subject offering to all Senior School students.
