Job Summary

Hours: 0.5 FTE

Salary: Dependent on qualifications/experience up to a maximum of £50,593 pro rata

Closing date: 26th August, midday

Interviews: Week commencing 14th September

Start Date: January 2027

Part time Teacher of French, reporting to the Head of French. Your role will involve teaching French to students of all abilities in a full boarding school environment. You will provide teacher support in small groups and individual meetings, contribute to cross departmental collaboration, and help all students develop their linguistic skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging French lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Plan and organise lessons, including assessment and resources.
  • Provide regular one to one and small group support to students.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to support student development.
  • Maintain satisfactory suitability and comply with DBS and other employment checks.
Qualifications
  • 'Can do' approach with strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience and suitability to work in a school environment.
  • Successful completion of DBS and relevant employment checks.
