Teacher of Drama Harrogate

About the role:

justteachers are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Harrogate to recruit a passionate and creative Teacher of Drama for a September start. This is a long term supply role offered on a full time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Drama specialist who is committed to inspiring young people and delivering high-quality creative arts education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Planning and delivering engaging, innovative lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Encouraging creativity, confidence, and collaboration in pupils
• Assessing student progress and supporting their academic and personal development
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for performing arts and creative learning
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
