Overview

Teacher of Construction Studies & DCG - Bush Post Primary, Dundalk, Co. Louth (22 hours per week, fixed-term).

Post-year: 2026/2027. Panels may be formed for the advertised subject combinations, with other appointments possible to Post-Primary Schools, PLC Colleges and other centres within LMETB.

Qualifications and Conditions of Service

• Registered or in the process of registering with the Teaching Council of Ireland for the advertised subject(s).
• Fully compliant with statutory Garda vetting requirements.
• Qualified to teach Construction Studies and DCG.
• Canvassing by or on behalf of the applicant will disqualify.
• All appointments will be governed by the Louth and Meath Education and Training Board Scheme.
• Qualifications, salary scales and other conditions of service are in accordance with the Department of Education (DES).
• Posts are subject to the post not being required for the Department of Education Redeployment scheme and to the Director of Redeployment agreeing to the posts being filled, following the completion of the 2026/27 Redeployment scheme.

Online interviews for teaching posts in LMETB are expected to commence during the week beginning 27th April 2026 and may run up to and including the week beginning 22nd June 2026.
