Working Hours: 32.43 hours per week, 52 working weeks, 52 paid weeks.

About the RoleWe are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Art to join our highly successful Technologies department. The role will engage in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
Key Responsibilities- Set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
- Plan, teach and assess well structured lessons based on strong subject and curriculum knowledge.
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment data.
- Manage behaviour effectively to promote a good and safe learning environment.
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities within the school.
Applicants should meet the required statutory criteria for engaging in regulated activity with children and possess appropriate teaching qualifications and experience in art education.
