Teacher (LTS) - Nature Based Preschool

Temporary Position - April 28, 2026 through June 5, 2026

Program is located at Bertram Chain of Lake Regional Park working with 4-year-old preschool students

Job Summary:

Monticello Schools is looking for a licensed preschool teacher to provide full time direct service for a preschool classroom. Staff must enjoy working outside in the elements in this hands-on learning environment.

Licensure:

• Current Birth to Grade 3 or K-5 teaching license for the State of Minnesota
• Staff must enjoy working outside in the elements in this hands-on learning environment
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Daily Rate: $241/Day for Licensed Teacher
