To take responsibility for the education and welfare of a designated class or group of pupils in accordance with the current School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document, having due regard to the requirements of the National Curriculum and Local Authority, school policies and under the reasonable direction of the Co-headteachers. To meet the expectations set out in the Teachers Standards. To encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve high standards and to share and support the education and discipline of all pupils.
