We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school in Wythenshawe, Manchester from September 2026. This is a full-time position, paid to scale, ideal for a dedicated practitioner with strong experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of SEND needs
- Support pupils with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
- Monitor and track pupil progress, ensuring positive outcomes
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals
- Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience working within a SEND setting or supporting pupils with additional needs
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEND strategies and interventions
- Have excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- Be committed to inclusive education and supporting all learners to achieve their potential
- Salary paid to scale (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
