Teaching and Learning

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
2. Set high expectations which inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.
3. Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND, EAL, and those who are disadvantaged.
4. Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policy.
5. Use assessment effectively to inform planning and improve outcomes for pupils.
6. Provide timely and constructive feedback to pupils to support their learning.

Classroom Management

1. Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
2. Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils.
3. Implement the school's behaviour policy consistently
4. Promote good behaviour, self-discipline and respect.

Curriculum and Planning

1. Plan and deliver a broad, balanced and creative curriculum.
2. Contribute to curriculum development within the school.
3. Ensure learning experiences are inclusive and accessible for all pupils.
4. Incorporate opportunities for cross-curricular learning.

Safeguarding and Wellbeing

1. Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
2. Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
3. Report any safeguarding concerns in line with school procedures.
4. Support pupils' social, emotional and mental well-being.

Conduct

1. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders.
2. Participate in staff meetings, training and professional development.
3. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, clubs or trips where appropriate.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
5. Uphold the values and ethos of the school and Trust.
6. Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
