Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (37.5 hours per week)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to support our Head of Direct Tax in ensuring compliance with tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work within a small, ambitious team in an exciting and evolving market. The ideal candidate will be a self starter with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills who can manage the company's tax risks, provide general tax advice, and organize tax affairs efficiently across jurisdictions.

Role Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review GB & Ireland Corporation Tax computations and partnership returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax legislation
  • Provide UK tax technical expertise, particularly in areas such as Corporate Interest Restrictions (CIR) and derivatives
  • Manage tax accounting and reporting, including group reporting, FRS 101 entity tax disclosures, and tax reconciliations
  • Oversee Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) reporting and conduct in year testing across various tax areas
  • Partner with business stakeholders to explain complex tax technical issues and apply tax advice in practical business contexts
  • Contribute to specialized tax areas including R&D tax credits, Capital Allowances, and Transfer Pricing as needed.
Experience and Key Attributes
  • Post qualification experience in industry or equivalent experience working with medium/large businesses
  • Comprehensive UK tax technical knowledge with understanding of Irish tax beneficial but not essential
