Tax Assurance and Risk Management Associate Director

Overview:

Our Tax Assurance & Risk Management (TA&RM) team is the fastest growing team of its kind, supporting over 300 clients from fast growth entrepreneurial businesses to FTSE20 customers. We help clients improve their tax performance, provide assurance to tax authorities and win tax transparency awards on the global stage.

Our team specialises in:

• Tax risk
• Tax governance
• Economic crime
• The development of tax control frameworks

You'll be a proactive self starter comfortable managing your own tasks while collaborating with senior managers, directors and partners. You'll be encouraged to identify and highlight opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
• Significant experience in Tax Risk work (including tax process, strategy, SAO and CCO)
• A keen interest in governance and risk management
• Strong presentation style and confidence in hosting workshops, training sessions and webinars, often at Board level
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the group, clients, and recognise business development opportunities
• Able to lead on projects and produce high quality reports
• Personal responsibility for own decisions and actions of others

Responsibilities and Expectations

Your role will involve developing and delivering tax risk frameworks, advising clients on governance and risk management, presenting findings to senior stakeholders, and leading projects to improve tax performance and compliance.
