Tax Accountant - Leading International Group with Environmental Projects near Brussels

For one of our clients, we are looking for a VAT Accountant in the peripheries of Brussels near Zaventem.

Responsabilities:

• Managing general accounting (AZ accounting)
• Ensuring VAT compliance and handling local tax declarations
• Collaborating on customs-related matters (VAT impact - training available)
• Supporting various internal and external projects across the organization

You will be part of a small, experienced accounting team working on strategic projects including ongoing green energy initiatives.

Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, including hands-on VAT responsibilities
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch (bilingual FR/NL is a strong asset)
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• No specific requirement to come from a Big Four background - attitude and expertise matter more
