Quix Recruitment is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Tax Accountant for a 12-month FTC based in London.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take on greater responsibility within the firm's Finance team, working closely with senior tax professionals to support UK and international tax compliance, partnership tax matters, and VAT reporting. You will contribute to complex tax computations and have a more active role in tax accounting and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare LLP and corporate tax computations for review by Senior Tax Managers
- Lead on partnership tax reserving calculations and bi-annual partner tax payments
- Support corporate tax compliance for UK and international offices
- Assist with VAT returns and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Liaise with overseas partners, external accountants, and tax advisors
- Manage tax audits, VAT investigations, and HMRC reporting requirements
- Prepare PAYE settlement agreements and support STBV reporting
- Take ownership of intercompany invoicing and withholding tax reclaims
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous process improvements
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in tax compliance and accounting within a professional services or law firm environment
- Strong knowledge of UK partnership tax, corporate tax, and VAT regulations
- Experience working with international tax matters and cross-border compliance
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems; experience with Elite 3e preferred but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex tax issues clearly
- Previous experience with partnership accounting and tax matters highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
