Job OverviewAs TLI Group continues to grow in scale, there is a need for greater alignment, visibility and future focus across talent and capability. The Talent & Capability Manager (Group) plays a key role in supporting the development and delivery of TLI Group's talent, leadership and capability approach. Working closely with the Shared Services Director, the role contributes to shaping a cohesive People & Capability agenda that aligns talent planning, leadership development and future skills with the organisation's growth strategy. The role operates collaboratively across the People function and with operational leadership. Together, the focus is on strengthening capability, improving alignment and supporting sustainable growth in a fast paced, project driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Group Talent & Capability Frameworks- Support the Shared Services Director in developing and evolving the group-wide talent and capability strategy and key priorities
- Contribute to the design of practical frameworks for talent, capability and workforce planning
- Help create shared language, tools and models that provide clarity and consistency where it adds value
- Ensure approaches are grounded in operational reality and support informed decision making
- Work in close partnership with operational leaders to ensure talent and capability approaches support delivery needs
- Collaborate closely with the HR Manager for Operations to align frameworks with operational insight and workforce demand
- Partner with People Operations leadership to ensure talent and capability initiatives align with people processes, governance and employee experience
- Support the development of structured workforce and succession planning for critical and specialist roles
- Work with Operations and People Operations to identify emerging capability risks and future needs
- Improve visibility of leadership and talent pipelines
- Contribute to organisational resilience through forward looking planning
- Support the development of group-wide talent acquisition strategy in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Lead
- Strengthen alignment between operational resourcing needs and wider talent pipelines
- Contribute to improving recruitment capability, forecasting and candidate experience
- Ensure recruitment approaches are aligned to TLI values and growth priorities
- Collaborate with L&D, Operations and People Operations to define leadership and management capability expectations
- Support the development of leadership, functional and technical capability pathways
- Help ensure learning investment is aligned to real business needs
- Balance shared capability standards with flexibility for different operational contexts
- Further support and streamline the development of early careers, apprenticeship and future skills pathways
- Work with Operations to align pipelines to workforce demand and long term capability needs
- Strengthen partnerships with education and training providers
- Contribute to building sustainable talent pipelines for the future
- Use workforce and talent data to inform strategy and identify trends and opportunities
- Provide insight and support to the Shared Services Director and People leadership
- Continuously refine frameworks and tools to improve usability and adoption
- Support a more proactive and planned approach to talent and capability
- Senior experience in talent, capability, workforce planning or organisational development
- Experience working within operational, technical or project based environments desirable
- Strong collaborative approach and ability to work through influence
- Proven capability in developing practical, business aligned frameworks
- Commercially aware, data informed and outcomes focused
- Comfortable operating within shared, matrix style models
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership and operational teams
