About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Recon ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, andmaintaining robust ETL processes that support our reconciliation operations. You willcollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, streamlineworkflows, and drive continuous improvement in our data management practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to support reconciliationprocesses and ensure accurate data movement across systems.Analyze complex data sets to identify discrepancies, resolve data qualityissues, and implement solutions for improved data accuracy.Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders togather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, proactively identifying and resolvingperformance bottlenecks or failures.Document ETL processes, data flows, and business rules to ensuretransparency and knowledge sharing within the team.Contribute to automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manualintervention in reconciliation workflows.Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL,data integration, and reconciliation.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering,or a related field.3+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or a similar role Proficiency with ETL tools e.g. DataStage, or similar.Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.Experience with reconciliation processes or financial data management ishighly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively withtechnical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud-based ETL solutions e.g. AWS Glue, Azure DataFactory.Familiarity with Shell scripting, or other programming languages for dataprocessing and automation.Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatoryrequirements in financial services.Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.Why Join Us?Collaborative team environment that values innovation and continuouslearning.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a compensation and benefits package.Ready to make an impact?Apply now to join our Recon ETL team and help shape the future of our data-drivenoperations.About State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
