As a Systems Engineer Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Systems Engineers working on exciting, cutting-edge technologies. The team will handle the design, development, and support of our products.
This role is based at our Barnstaple site with flexible working arrangements.
The salary for this role is up to £80k, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
- 25% Team Leadership and Management - Ensure team members have the tools and equipment needed to perform their roles safely and efficiently. Allocate projects based on business priorities, support, and empower team members to develop and grow.
- 25% Business Development Support - Provide technical expertise for business development, including preparing technical proposals and bids. Support evaluation of new technologies and methods, and assist in defining work packages and estimating resources.
- 50% Project Delivery - Lead the delivery of engineering work packages, coordinate system integration, verification, validation, and manage issue resolution. Oversee requirements management, analysis, traceability, and perform functional and non-functional system analyses.

The skills you need
- Experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Verification and Validation
- Understanding of requirements capture and experience with DOORS
- Leadership and team management experience
