System Engineer- Fircosoft platform

Our client in Zurich is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Fircosoft sanctions screening solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain Fircosoft products and their underlying infrastructure (Servers, databases, interfaces)
• Design, test, and optimise screening rule sets to reliably detect sanction-related risks
• Monitor platform performance and introduce improvements to boost accuracy
• Analyse system behaviour, review data patterns, and identify enhancement opportunities
• Manage change documentation, performance reporting, and process descriptions
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and participate in end-to-end project activities, from analysis to testing

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science (university or technical college) and hands-on experience as a systems engineer/administrator
• Strong knowledge of Fircosoft products
• Oracle databases
• PKI, SSH, certificates
• Networking (IP, Firewalls, load balancing)
• Programming/Scripting
• Messaging technologies (JMS, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka)
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotatio
