THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking skilled System Engineers to support a Defence programme, working on complex systems integration and verification tasks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring system requirements are met, providing technical expertise, and contributing to the full lifecycle of systems engineering processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop, manage, and maintain system requirements using DOORS and Polarian.
- Perform Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification (IVVQ) tasks to ensure systems meet design and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and validate requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support the development and maintenance of Interface Control Documents (ICD) and system architecture.
- Generate technical documentation and contribute to project review sessions.
- Provide post-delivery support and address any system issues or updates as needed.
- Proven experience as a System Engineer within the Defence sector.
- Proficiency in DOORS and Polarian for requirements management.
- Strong knowledge of IVVQ processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with Defence standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
