Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there's a kids' club for the little ones and a workspace. As the countryside companion to Maison Estelle, the manor is also a 'hosted home', bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove.

Switchboard Operator

As a Switchboard Operator you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals, and providing information as needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour, and the ability to multitask efficiently. This role sits as part of our reservation team but will be in a different office space.

Who we are looking for?

• A person who is calm, confident, is an excellent problem-solver, has great attention to detail and who can multitask.
• Experience in an administrative position within the hospitality or travel industry would be ideal. Also beneficial is admin experience gained from NHS, at a doctor's surgery, within retail banking or even as a virtual assistant/EA/PA.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to get on with a diverse range of people - you can quickly understand, influence, and negotiate, as well as document and explain complex requirements to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Confident in learning and using a wide range of computer operating systems.

The shift patterns for this role will require flexibility and will include evenings & weekends (5 days working with 2 days rest period Monday - Sunday).

The on target earning potential for this role is £33,000 per annum. This is compromised of a base salary of £30,000 per annum with an estimated £3,000 in service charge.
