Swim Manager - Full Time - Tandridge Area

Job Overview

The Swim Manager will have overall responsibility for the pool programmes and swim schools at de Stafford Sports Centre, Tandridge Leisure Centre and Village Health Club.

Your role will be a blend of Swim Program Management and Swim Teaching. As the Swim Manager you'll need to divide your time up wisely ensuring that all tasks, deadlines and targets are met and each venue has your support & guidance where & when required.

You will take full responsibility for the development of the Learn to Swim Program, ensuring that pool space is fully optimised and we have a healthy transition of students through our framework. You will also lead on starting and developing relationships with Groups, Clubs and Schools in the local area, and on strategic workforce development to provide products for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, monitor and report on a financially viable swimming lesson programme that meets the needs of the centre customers, schools and pre schoolers.
• Ensure the smooth administrative running of the swim school.
• Organise and communicate the swimming teacher rota in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all lessons are covered by authorised staff.
• Organise the work carried out by swimming teachers.
• Assist in the recruitment of swimming teachers.
• Maintain Level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualification.
• Provide mobility to travel across sites.

Qualifications

Level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualification is required.

Hours

37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (rota basis).

Salary

Up to £25,079 per annum.
