Leading the onboarding process for Swap Dealers in a heavily regulated environment, ensuring compliance with governance policies and procedures while managing relationships with regulatory bodies such as BaFin and CFTC.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Swap Dealer Onboarding Programme Manager, you will be accountable for defining and operationalizing the onboarding strategies while ensuring compliance.

  • Define and set the roadmap for onboarding Swap Dealers, identifying necessary tasks and compliance requirements.

  • Refine existing policies and risk controls based on identified gaps in compliance procedures.

  • Operationalize reporting processes, including CFTC reporting requirements.

  • Ensure the ongoing functionality of processes within the business-as-usual (BAU) settings.

  • Conduct annual assessments and manage operating models within the team.

Key Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Swap Dealers (eg, BaFin, CFTC).

  • Strong background in compliance and governance frameworks.

  • Experience in developing policies and risk controls in a banking or financial services context.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operationalize compliance strategies.

Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with reporting systems related to CFTC.

  • Experience working in a transatlantic (UK/US) regulatory environment.

  • Understanding of operational models in financial services.

This role is located near trading desks and involves working within a collaborative team environment focused on regulatory compliance.
