Job Description
An award-winning multi-discipline consultancy renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation is currently on the lookout for a Senior Sustainability Consultant based in the UK. Each project presents unique challenges and learning experiences. - Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in developing and delivering building performance strategies that enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and improve comfort levels in buildings and property portfolios. - Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of experts and collaborate with client organisations, external consultant teams, contractors, and the company's own multi-disciplinary project teams. Role and Responsibilities - Preparing, presenting, and delivering building performance appraisals focusing on energy, carbon, and comfort for both existing and new-build properties. - Developing digital models and bespoke assessment tools to support sustainability initiatives. - Assisting in the production of technical briefing notes and reports. - Providing strategic advice on energy, carbon emissions, and comfort profiles of buildings. - Supporting project stakeholders with broader sustainability issues. Skills and Experience Required - Management/Leadership experience - Ability to produce clear and concise verbal and written reports. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations Part L & Part O, planning policy, and BREEAM and experience using IESVE software.
