Sustainability Apprentice

Context & Environment

Support the planning, coordination, and reporting of sustainability and social value initiatives across key borough projects. Ensure delivery to local communities is effective, measurable, and communicated clearly to stakeholders.

Activities

• Assist with planning and delivering sustainability and social value programmes
• Monitor progress and report against targets
• Maintain accurate project documentation and budgets
• Build engaging reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Support community engagement events and meetings

Candidate Profile Essential Requirements:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4+)
• Genuine interest in sustainability, community engagement, or EV infrastructure
• Strong organisational, analytical, and time management skills
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Confident communicator

Desirable:

• A-Level or Level 2 in business, sustainability, or social sciences
• Experience using Copilot, SharePoint, or similar digital tools
• Previous volunteering or community project experience
• London-based or easily commutable
