Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services ( ). We are currently looking for a Survey Coordinator to join our team for a High-Speed Project in Birmingham, UK.
Office Location: London (with occasional travel to Birmingham)
Project: High-Speed Construction Project
Contract Duration: 8-month contract, collaborating with the client. Once the project ends, we aim to place the employee in other projects to ensure continuity.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Survey (Black Hat) Supervisor to join our team for a high-speed project. This role involves coordinating surveying work on-site and liaising with multiple stakeholders, including third-party building representatives.
The role is based primarily in London, with occasional travel to Birmingham required as per project demands. This makes it suitable for candidates based in London or surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all surveying activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and health & safety regulations.
- Liaise effectively with stakeholders and third-party property representatives.
- Facilitate communication across teams and ensure all parties remain informed about project updates and requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to maintain the accuracy and quality of all surveying work.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, ideally on rail, high-speed, or similar infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing third-party buildings and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a hybrid working environment.
- Fluent English - C1 level (minimum).
- CSCS Gold or Black Card
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- PTS (Personal Track Safety)
