The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure.
Anglian Water's purpose is to bring environmental and social prosperity to the East of England, through our commitment to Love Every Drop. Anglian Water have an ambitious capital investment programme that will provide safe and resilient water supplies, permit sustainable growth, provide climate change resilience, and protect and improve the natural environment.
This role will be remote, with only attendance in Peterborough as and when needed. It will be working cross program until planning is submitted
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting the Technical Leads and EcIA Leads, and Survey and Co-ordination Lead with planning and co-ordination of ecological survey work.
Supporting the Survey and Co-ordination Lead with originating and keeping H&S documentation up to date
Recording and tracking that all staff on site have read and understood all H&S documentation
Supporting the Survey and Co-ordination Lead with the coordination of ecology surveys, data management
Ensuring that data is checked for quality
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.
- Ensure completion of a full Induction to H&S in accordance with Company policies, procedures, standards &/or guidance.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Experience of working at a high level within teams focusing on Habitat and BNG deliverables.
Excellent health and safety awareness.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Document production abilities using various software inc. excel, word, GIS, PowerPoint.
Excellent organisational skills
QualificationsQualification or equivalent professional experience in a relevant environment or technical discipline.
Chartered or full accredited membership (or working towards one) from a relevant professional institute or equivalent.
