The Role and Responsibilities

As an Asphalt Surfacing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day to day site activities and ensuring smooth delivery of surfacing operations.

• Supervising and leading asphalt surfacing teams on site
• Planning and coordinating daily work schedules, plant, and materials
• Ensuring all works meet industry standards and project specifications
• Monitoring and enforcing health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times
• Liaising with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
• Conducting site inspections and resolving operational issues promptly
• Maintaining high standards of quality control and productivity

Must Have Skills and Experience

To succeed as an Asphalt Surfacing Supervisor, you will bring:

• Proven experience within asphalt surfacing or road construction environments
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Relevant certifications such as CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred)
